    Dr. Mohammad Hossein Azizi, a Leading Figure in the Iranian Food Science and Industry, Joins the AST Consortium

    Professor Mohammad Hossein Azizi has been working as a member of the academic staff at Tarbiat Modares University since February 2013. He is interested in research in the field of food packaging and protection methods, grain and product technology, natural and synthetic food additives and new food technologies. So far, he has published more than 114 research articles in prestigious international journals, 189 articles in domestic journals, 7 translated and authored books, and several patents in his scientific portfolio.

    He also has various executive activities, including: the head of the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Industries of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and the supervisor of the Institute of Nutritional Research and Food Industries of the country, the research assistant of the Institute of Nutritional Research and Food Industries of the country, the director of the cold stores of the Mustazafan Foundation, the deputy director general of the project and Program in the Vice-Chancellor of Transforming Industries, Ministry of Agriculture, Director of the Food Industries Department of Tarbiat Modares University, Director of the Food Industries Department of the Faculty of Nutrition Sciences and Food Industries, member of the board of directors, president and secretary of the Iranian Association of Food Sciences and Industries in several periods, editor and member of the board.

    Professor Mohammad Hossein Azizi is the Editor of Iran Journal of Food Sciences and Industries, member of the editorial board of Iran Journal of Nutrition Sciences and Food Industries and several other journals, member of several research and scientific councils in various universities and other scientific and educational centers, member of the Supreme Council of the Institute of Nutritional Research and Food Industries of Iran, Chairman, secretary and member of the scientific council of many conferences and congresses related to science and food industries, member of the evaluation commission of foreign degrees of the student vice-chancellor of the Ministry of Science.

    Professor Mohammad Hossein Azizi is the member of the agriculture commission and the specialized working group of top graduates of the National Elite Foundation, the general manager of food and beverage affairs of the organization Food and Medicine, teaching courses related to food science and industry at bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels in various universities, chairman, secretary and member of several executive, research and scientific committees in ministries, organizations, research centers, universities , and other centers related to food and nutrition in their records.

    Dr. Azizi received his bachelor's degree from the Institute of Nutritional Research and Food Industry (https://nnftri.ac.ir/en/), his master's degree from Tarbiat Modares University (https://www.modares.ac.ir/en) and his doctorate from the Central Food Technology Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, India (https://cftri.res.in/). and have guided more than 150 and advised more than 175 master's and doctoral students.
